Chairperson Tim Burtis – District 3

Tim and his wife, Chris, make their home in Brewerton along with their two sons, Theo, and Alex. Tim has been a resident of the Town of Cicero for more than 30 years and Central New York has always been his home.

Graduating from Twin Tiers Christian Academy in Horseheads, NY, and then attending Onondaga Community College and Liberty University, Tim's education had a strong focus on ethics, morals, and integrity that is a foundation in his life.

Tim's commitment is to invest in our community and to make the area more attractive for businesses to increase employment. He works to make improvements to, and keep proper maintenance of our roads and infrastructure. Tim continually stays focused on keeping our taxes low through fiscally-responsible decisions at all levels.

In January 2023, Legislator Burtis was selected to be Chairperson of the Legislature, a term he will hold for the next two years.
