Leslie English is running the 4th District. She is a fourth generation Onondaga County resident, wife, mother and business owner.

On the Legislature, Leslie hopes to establish balance and collaboration for county success that benefits multiple generations. She is well aware of the challenges facing her district and the county as a whole. In order for children to grow up in a healthy, safe environment and want to raise their families here, she believes we have to address affordability, the cost of living and childhood poverty, while offering more opportunities for residents. Leslie will tell you she is extremely sensitive to family, employee and business challenges, with a special focus on children and seniors.

Leslie has been active locally for many years, giving back to her community through various roles. She served on the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency, where she - quite literally - helped pave the way for new companies in our county and helping others expand and thrive.

She’s also worked with the Girl Scouts, Leadership Greater Syracuse and McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center.
